Deprivation and Frustration الحرمان والخيبة
- Deprivation is abandonment.
1ـ اَلحِرمانُ خِذْلانٌ.
- I wonder at the person who hopes for favour from the one who is above him, how can he deprive the one who is below him [of his own favour]?
2ـ عَجِبْتُ لِمَنْ يَرْجُو فَضْلَ مَنْ فَوْقَهُ، كَيْفَ يَحْرُمُ مَنْ
دُونَهُ.
- The anguish of deprivation will not be calmed until acquisition is realized.
3ـ لَنْ تَسْكُنَ حُرْقَةُ الحِرْمانِ حَتّى يَتَحَقَّقَ الوِجْدانُ.
- Do not deprive the distressed even if he is extravagant.
4ـ لاتَحْرِمِ المُضْطَرَّ وإنْ أسْرَفَ.
- Do not frustrate the needy even if he insists [for more].
5ـ لاتُخَيِّبِ المُحْتاجَ وَإنْ ألْحَفَ.
