1ـ للاِعْتِبارِ تُضْرَبُ الأمْثالُ.

2. For people who take lesson, examples are given.

2ـ لأهْلِ الاِعْتِبارِ تُضْرَبُ الأمْثالُ.

3. For people of understanding speech becomes figurative.

3ـ لأهْلِ الفَهْمِ تُصَرَّفُ الأقْوالِ.

4. Metaphors are given for the people of intellect and insight.

4ـ ضُرُوبُ الأمْثالِ تُضْرَبُ لأُولِى النُّهى والألبابِ.
