Delay

Delay-المطل

1. Delay and obligation are the spoilers of [the] favour [one does to others].

1ـ اَلمَطَلُ والمَنُّ مُنَكِّدَا الإحْسانِ.

2. Delay [in giving] is one of the two refusals.

2ـ اَلمَطَلُ أحَدُ المَنْعَيْنِ.

3. Delay [and procrastination] is a chastisement of the soul.

3ـ اَلمَطَلُ عَذابُ النَّفْسِ.
