Nobility And The Noble

Nobility and the noble-النّبل والنبلاء

  1. Nobility is [attained] by adorning [oneself] with generosity and fulfilling [one’s] promises.

1ـ اَلنُّبْلُ بِالتَّحَلِّي بِالجُودِ والوَفاءُ بِالْعُهُودِ.

  1. Verily nobility is nothing but the shunning of disgraceful actions.

2ـ إنَّما النُّبْلُ اَلتَّبـَرِّي عَنِ الْمَخازي.

  1. The habits of the noble ones are: generosity, suppressing anger, forgiveness and forbearance.

3ـ عادَةُ النُّبَلاءِ السَّخاءُ والْكَظْمُ والْعَفْوُ والْحِلْمُ.

  1. The symbol of nobility is doing good to people.

4ـ عُنْوانُ النُّبْلِ الإحْسانُ إلَى النّاسِ.

  1. It is from nobility for a man to spend his wealth and safeguard his dignity.

5ـ مِنْ النُّبْلِ أنْ يَبْذُلَ الرَّجُلُ مالَهُ ويَصُونَ عِرْضَهُ.

  1. Acting on the principle of justice is from the signs of nobility.

6ـ مِنْ عَلاماتِ النُّبْلِ اَلْعَمَلُ بِسُنَّةِ الْعَدْلِ.

  1. The nobility of a man is evinced by the paucity of his speech and his merit is deduced from his abundant tolerance.

7ـ يُسْتَدَلُّ عَلى نُبْلِ الرَّجُلِ بِقِلَّةِ مَقالِهِ وعَلى

تَفَضُّلِهِ بِكَثْرَةِ إحْتِمالِهِ.
