Nobility And The Noble
Nobility and the noble-النّبل والنبلاء
- Nobility is [attained] by adorning [oneself] with generosity and fulfilling [one’s] promises.
1ـ اَلنُّبْلُ بِالتَّحَلِّي بِالجُودِ والوَفاءُ بِالْعُهُودِ.
- Verily nobility is nothing but the shunning of disgraceful actions.
2ـ إنَّما النُّبْلُ اَلتَّبـَرِّي عَنِ الْمَخازي.
- The habits of the noble ones are: generosity, suppressing anger, forgiveness and forbearance.
3ـ عادَةُ النُّبَلاءِ السَّخاءُ والْكَظْمُ والْعَفْوُ والْحِلْمُ.
- The symbol of nobility is doing good to people.
4ـ عُنْوانُ النُّبْلِ الإحْسانُ إلَى النّاسِ.
- It is from nobility for a man to spend his wealth and safeguard his dignity.
5ـ مِنْ النُّبْلِ أنْ يَبْذُلَ الرَّجُلُ مالَهُ ويَصُونَ عِرْضَهُ.
- Acting on the principle of justice is from the signs of nobility.
6ـ مِنْ عَلاماتِ النُّبْلِ اَلْعَمَلُ بِسُنَّةِ الْعَدْلِ.
- The nobility of a man is evinced by the paucity of his speech and his merit is deduced from his abundant tolerance.
7ـ يُسْتَدَلُّ عَلى نُبْلِ الرَّجُلِ بِقِلَّةِ مَقالِهِ وعَلى
تَفَضُّلِهِ بِكَثْرَةِ إحْتِمالِهِ.
