Putting Trust In Allah

Putting trust in Allah-التَّوكل

  1. Trusting in Allah is an honourable sufficiency for the one who relies upon it.

1ـ اَلتَّوَكُّلُ كِفايَةٌ شَريفَةٌ لِمَنِ اعْتَمَدَ عَلَيْهِ.

  1. Trusting in Allah means distancing oneself from [reliance upon one’s] strength and power, and waiting for what is brought by divine decree.

2ـ اَلتَّوَكُّلُ اَلتَبَّري مِنَ الحَوْلِ والقُوَّةِ وانْتِظارُ ما

يَأتي بِهِ القَدَرُ.

  1. Beware of choosing [a path] for yourself [instead of putting your trust in Allah], for indeed most of the success lies in that which is not reckoned.

3ـ إيّاكَ أنْ تَتَخَيَّرَ لِنَفْسِكَ، فَإنَّ أكْثَرَ النُّجْحِ فيما

لايُحْتَسَبُ.

  1. The root of the heart’s strength is in putting [one’s] trust in Allah.

4ـ أصْلُ قُوَّةِ القَلْبِ اَلتَّوَكُّلُ عَلَى اللّهِ.

  1. Verily the perfection of trust in Allah stems from the verity of certitude.

5ـ إنَّ حُسْنَ التَّوَكُّلِ لَمِنْ صِدْقِ الإيقانِ.

  1. Trusting in Allah is [a means of] sufficiency.

6ـ اَلتَّوَكُّلُ كِفايَةٌ.

  1. Trusting in Allah is an asset.

7ـ اَلتَّوَكُّلُ بِضاعَةٌ.

  1. Trusting in Allah is the best pillar [of support].

8ـ اَلتَّوَكُّلُ خَيْرُ عِماد.

  1. Trusting in Allah is the fortress of wisdom.

9ـ اَلتَّوَكُّلُ حِصْنُ الحِكْمَةِ.

  1. Trusting in Allah is the best action.

10ـ اَلتَّوَكُّلُ أفْضَلُ عَمَل.

  1. Trusting in Allah stems from strength of certitude.

11ـ اَلتَّوَكُّلُ مِنْ قُوَّةِ اليَقينِ.

  1. It is through the strength of one’s trust in Allah that the level of one’s faith is evinced.

12ـ بِحُسْنِ التَّوَكُّلِ يُسْتَدَلُّ عَلى حُسْنِ الإيقانِ.

  1. Trust in Allah the Glorified, for indeed He has guaranteed the sufficiency of those who put their trust in Him.

13ـ تَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّهِ سُبْحانَهُ فَإنَّهُ قَدْ تَكَفَّلَ

بِكِفايَةِ المُتَوَكِّلينَ عَلَيْهِ.

  1. The strength of a servant’s trust in Allah is to the extent of his reliance on Him.

14ـ حُسْنُ تَوَكُّلِ العَبْدِ عَلَى اللّهِ عَلى قَدْرِ ثِقَتِهِ بِِهِ.

  1. It is sufficient for your trust [in Allah] that you consider no one else as a channel for acquiring your sustenance other than Allah, the Glorified.

15ـ حَسْبُكَ مِنْ تَوَكُّلِكَ أنْ لاتَرى لِرِزْقِكَ مُجْرِياً إلاّ

اللّهُ سُبْحانَهُ.

  1. It is in trusting Allah that the true essence of conviction lies.

16ـ فِي التَّوَكُّلِ حَقيقَةُ الإيقانِ.

  1. Whoever puts his trust [in Allah] is catered for.

17ـ مَنْ تَوَكَّلَ كُفِيَ.

  1. One who trusts in Allah does not get worried.

18ـ مَنْ تَوَكَّلَ لَمْ يَهْتَمَّ.

  1. One who trusts in Allah is catered for.

19ـ مَنْ تَوَكَّلَ عَلَى اللّهِ كُفِيَ.

  1. Whoever trusts in Allah, He suffices him.

20ـ مَنْ تَوَكَّلَ عَلَى اللّهِ كَفاهُ.

  1. Never allow yourself to trust in anyone but Allah, and you should have no hope in anyone but Allah.

21ـ لاتَجْعَلَنَّ لِنَفْسِكَ تَوَكُّلاً إلاّ عَلَى اللّهِ، ولايَكُنْ

لَكَ رَجاءٌ إلاّ اللّهُ.

  1. Everyone who puts his trust in Allah is catered for [and provided for by Him].

22ـ كُلُّ مُتَوَكِّل مَكْفِيٌّ.

  1. Have trust in Allah and you will be catered for [by Him].

23ـ كُنْ مُتَوَكِّلاً تَكُنْ مَكْفِيّاً.

  1. There is no trouble [and distress] for the one who trusts in Allah.

24ـ لَيْسَ لِمُتَوَكـِّل عَناءٌ.

  1. One who puts his trust in Allah will never lose His support.

25ـ مَنْ كانَ مُتَوَكِّلاً لَمْ يَعْدَمِ الإعانَةَ.

  1. One who trusts in Allah has no need for [seeking help from] His servants.

26ـ مَنْ تَوَكَّلَ عَلَى اللّهِ غَنِيَ عَنْ عِبادِهِ.

  1. Whoever trusts in Allah is catered for and becomes needless [of others].

27ـ مَنْ تَوَكَّلَ عَلَى اللّهِ كُفِيَ واسْتَغْنى.

  1. Whoever trusts in Allah, difficulties become easy for him.

28ـ مَنْ تَوَكَّلَ عَلَى اللّهِ تَسَهَّلَتْ لَهُ الصِّعابُ.

  1. Whoever trusts in Allah, doubts get cleared for him, his sustenance is catered for and he is saved from tribulations.

29ـ مَنْ تَوَكَّلَ عَلَى اللّهِ أضاءَتْ لَهُ الشُّبَهاتُ، وكُفِيَ

المَؤُناتُ، وأمِنَ التَّبِعاتِ.

  1. Whoever trusts in Allah, difficulties become tolerable for him, means become easy for him and he enters into [a place of] comfort and honour.

30ـ مَنْ تَوَكَّلَ عَلَى اللّهِ ذَلَّتْ لَهُ الصِّعابُ، وتَسَهَّلَتْ

لَهُ الأسْبابُ، وتَبَوَّءَ الخَفْضَ والكَرامَةَ.
