Method of Salat

( Salam )

At the end of the Salat, after the recitation of the Tashahud, we recite the Salam in the following manner:

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَ رَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ

*As-salaamu 'alayka ayyuhan Nabiyyu wa Rahmatul-laahi wa barakaatuh

• (May the peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you O' Prophet.)

اَلسَّلامُ عَلَيْنَا وَ عَلى عِباَدِ اللهِ الصَّالِحِينَ

As-salaamu 'alayna wa 'alaa 'Ibaadil-laahis Saaliheen

(Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah.)
 

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَ رَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ

*As-salaamu 'alaykum wa rahmatul-laahi wa barakaatuh

• (May the peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you all.)

After the Salat has finished, it is better to recite the Takbir three times and each time, we should raise our hands so that they are parallel to our ears:

اَللهُ أكْبَرُ

*Allahu Akbar

• (Allah is Greater than anything else)
